The President of Hirshabelle Hosts a Dinner in Honor of Journalists and the National Artists Waaberi

The President of the Hirshabelle Government, Mr. Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Ali Guudlaawe), hosted a dinner and farewell event for the media community, the National Artists Waaberi, and other honored guests who came to Jowhar to participate in the inauguration of various projects.

The Director of Media at the Hirshabelle Presidency, Mohamed Shuuriye Noor, praised the journalists and artists for their role in the events showcasing the progress in Hirshabelle.

The Director of the Somali National News Agency (SONNA), Ismail Mukhtar Oronjo, speaking at the event, stated that both government and independent media have conveyed to the public visuals showing the progress in Jowhar.

“The National media and the independent media that came to Jowhar have provided the community with a true picture reflecting the progress in Hirshabelle,” said Director Oronjo.

The Director of East and Central Africa at Universal Television, Abdullahi Xersi Kulmiye, also pointed out the commendable work the President has done for Hirshabelle.

Additionally, the Director of the Somali National Council of Arts and Entertainment, Poet Osman Abdullahi Guurre, described the achievements in Hirshabelle as visible and clearly felt.

President Ali Guudlaawe, giving a brief speech at the event, stated that the media community plays a significant role in conveying the message and progress of Hirshabelle.

Finally, the President of Hirshabelle thanked all the guests who participated in the event for their support and solidarity with Hirshabelle.
