WardheerNews has learned that senior Somali lawmakers from Southwest State, led by former Speaker of the House of the People Dr. Mohamed Mursal Sheikh Abdirahman, have held direct talks in Nairobi with former Southwest President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen as part of an intensive reconciliation initiative.

The discussions have focused on one urgent objective: finding a political compromise capable of ending the confrontation and protecting civilians who have borne the heaviest cost of the conflict. The parliamentary delegation had previously met President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Speaker Abdulkadir M.
