In a recent interview with Dawan Media, former President Hassan Sheikh disclosed that he remains in regular contact with former President Farmaajo, describing a relationship characterized by ongoing dialogue and the exchange of messages. “Farmaajo and I communicate through messages and we speak regularly,” Hassan Sheikh said, emphasizing that channels of communication between the two leaders remain open.

The admission surprised many people and political observers alike, particularly given the intense rivalry that defined the relationship between the two men during previous election cycles and periods of political tension.
