Murder in the city of Gaalkacyo

A young boy named Maxamed Diiriye Catoosh was killed last night in the city of Gaalkacyo, the capital of the Mudug region.

The murder occurred in the Garsoor area, and reports indicate that it was carried out by a group of bandits who wanted to steal the victim's phone. The victim was said to be among the students who graduated from high schools in Puntland this year.

The police in the Mudug region, speaking about the murder of the young boy, indicated that they are conducting an investigation and are pursuing a group suspected of being involved in the act.

The commander of the Warshad Galay Police Station, Mahad Siciid Axmed, stated that the security forces are closely monitoring the investigation and tracking the suspects, and efforts are underway to apprehend individuals suspected of this act.
