Firdhiye arrives in Dhuusamareeb

The President of the Puntland Administration, Cabdulqaadir Aw Cali Firdhiye, arrived this morning in the city of Dhuusamareeb, where the inauguration of the new President of Galmudug, Liibaan Axmed Xasan, is taking place today.

The new President of Galmudug, Liibaan Axmed Xasan, warmly welcomed President Firdhiye to the city of Dhuusamareeb, thanking him for his visit and participation in the inauguration ceremony.

Both presidents also emphasized the importance of cooperation and collaboration among regional administrations, particularly in efforts to strengthen peace, security, state-building, and the development of the country.

On the other hand, the President of the Federal Government of Somalia, Xasan Sheekh, and Prime Minister Xamse Cabdi Barre are expected to arrive in the city of Dhuusamareeb in the coming hours to participate in the inauguration of the new President of Galmudug.

The Presidents of South West and Hirshabelle, Aadan Madoobe & Xuseen Guudlaawe, former Prime Ministers including Cabdiweli Gaas & Cali Maxamed Geedi, and other delegations are also present in the city of Dhuusamareeb.

The Presidents of Puntland & Jubaland and opposition politicians from Mogadishu who are part of the Mustaqbalka Council are also participating in the inauguration of the new President of Galmudug.
