Deputy Governor of Security for Banaadir Region Conducts Security Inspection to Ensure Capital's Safety

The Deputy Governor of Security and Politics for Banaadir Region, Mohamed Ahmed Diiriye (Yabooh), stated that the security of the capital, Mogadishu, is a shared responsibility, and that the regional administration is committed to strengthening security and cooperation between the public and security forces.

Governor Yabooh, speaking during a security inspection he conducted in some districts of Banaadir Region, mentioned that the recent meetings between the regional administration and security officials focused on reinforcing the security of the capital and implementing the night alert schedule to increase security vigilance.

He noted that the inspection was based on ensuring the implementation of the night alert in various districts of Mogadishu, so that the Somali people can enjoy full security and stability.

“The security of the capital is a shared responsibility, and we are committed to strengthening security and cooperation between the public and security forces,” said the Deputy Governor of Security and Politics for Banaadir Region, Mohamed Ahmed Diiriye (Yabooh).

Additionally, Governor Yabooh urged security forces and their leaders to double their efforts in ensuring the safety of citizens living in the capital, and to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the public and security agencies.
