Media, artists, and honored guests held a farewell ceremony at Villa Hirshabelle

Jun 14 (Jowhar) - The President of the Hirshabelle Government, Mr. Ali Abdullah Hussein (Cali Guudlaawe), held a farewell ceremony at the presidential palace for the media community, the National Artists of Waberi, and other honored guests who came to Jowhar for the inauguration of various projects. First, the Director of East and Central Africa at Universal Television, Abdullahi Xersi Kulmiye, noted the commendable work the president has done for Hirshabelle.

“When the whole world saw the Presidential Palace and a place shining like this, they were asking, is this Somalia? President Ali Guudlaawe, thank you, and the Somali people are aware of your achievements,” said Director Xirsi.

The Director of the Somali National Council of Arts and Entertainment, Poet Osman Abdullah Guurre, described the achievements of Hirshabelle as a sun that cannot be hidden by hands. MP Mohamed Deeq Barre “Fiyoore,” a member of the Federal Parliament elected from Hirshabelle, referred to the construction of Villa Hirshabelle as a symbol to be proud of.

“The Hirshabelle Presidential Palace is a structure that all Somali people can be proud of, and it is a symbol showing the progress and state-building of Hirshabelle. I thank President Ali Guudlaawe for the efforts made to realize this,” he said.

The Speaker of the Hirshabelle Parliament, Mr. Abdikhaqiim Luqmaan Haji, thanked the Hirshabelle government for the projects implemented in the capital Jowhar.

“In recent nights, social media has been buzzing about Hirshabelle. I thank President Ali Guudlaawe for the efforts and leadership that have led to the visible progress today,” said Speaker Luqmaan.

Finally, the President thanked all those present for the support they have shown to Hirshabelle, noting that it is something recorded in a special register.

“Our message is that you have caused us to reach a high place; we have all succeeded,” said the President of Hirshabelle.

The city of Jowhar, the capital of the Hirshabelle government, recently saw the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, inaugurate the construction of the Hirshabelle Presidential Palace, ministries, and paved roads implemented in the city of Jowhar.
