Thursday 20 Aug 2026 {HMC} The leader of the South West Government, Mr. Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Noor (Madoobe) held a dinner meeting in Mogadishu with Members of Parliament from both houses whose electoral area is South West.

The meeting was attended by the Speaker of the House of the People of BJFS, Mr. Abduqadir Mohamed Noor (Jaamac), the 2nd Deputy Speaker of the House, Mr. Abdullahi Omar Abshir, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Jibriil Abdiraashid Haji, Ministers, Members of both Houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, and other politicians.

The meeting discussed the overall situation in the South West regions, particularly in terms of security, development, and strengthening governance.

The focus of the meeting was on how to work together for the progress, security, stability, and public interest of the people of South West, while enhancing cooperation and unity among officials and politicians from the South West regions.

The leader of the South West Government emphasized the importance of all parties working together for the development and governance of South West, prioritizing peace, security, and social services.
