Leader of South West State Arrives in Mogadishu

Mogadishu – The leader of the South West State Government, Mr. Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), and a delegation he leads have today made their first trip to the capital city, Mogadishu, since being elected to lead the South West State Government.

The leader's delegation was warmly welcomed at Aden Adde International Airport, where they were received by members of both houses of the Federal Parliament of Somalia, led by the Second Deputy Speaker of the House of the People and other officials.

Leader Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe) thanked the officials, members of parliament, and various sectors of society for the warm welcome they extended to him and his delegation.

Additionally, Leader Sheikh Aadan Madoobe praised the electoral process that took place in the South West State Government, noting that the elections were held in a peaceful atmosphere, with transparency and unity reflecting the will of the people and the institutions of the South West State Government.

Leader Sheikh Aadan Madoobe emphasized that his administration will prioritize strengthening security, improving social services, accelerating state-building, and enhancing cooperation between the Federal Government of Somalia and the South West State Government.
