The Vice President of Puntland Government Ilyaas Cismaan Lugatoor has ordered the governors of regions and districts that meetings to support the Federal Government and the recruitment of soldiers to be registered with the Federal Government of Somalia are prohibited in Puntland.

Lugatoor announced that no one will be allowed to undermine Puntland and organize anything that would harm the security, existence, and overall governance of Puntland, and they will take action.

“No one, not even Xasan Sheekh whose time has expired, should recruit soldiers in Puntland or organize meetings today; how can a man from Xamar outdo you in your own area while he is just a visitor?” said the Vice President of Puntland Government Ilyaas Cismaan Lugatoor.

The Vice President of Puntland Government Ilyaas Cismaan Lugatoor added, “Let it be known that the governors of districts and regions are not present; a man from Xamar cannot hold meetings in Puntland, the one hiding in his house is unique, this governance was defended with less than that today, and we have been building for 28 years, we will not allow oppression over us.”

“The people of Puntland want to support their governance, but if we become executors and allow someone to come to this country to form an army, what was the purpose of building the government yesterday? What we were praised for is not a loss; it can be viewed differently, and a politician can go to Xamar, but we will not accept the destruction of Puntland's governance,” he added.
