International Youth Skills Day 2026

Today, Hano Academy and Hano Technical University jointly celebrated International Youth Skills Day, showcasing educational opportunities and vocational training they have prepared for Somali youth. This event highlighted their commitment to developing knowledge, enhancing practical skills, and preparing a Somali generation capable of succeeding in education, work, innovation, and leadership in the future.

Students visiting the facilities of Hano Academy and Hano Technical University participated in practical demonstrations presented by the university's faculties and vocational training departments. They had the opportunity to closely engage with the training and see how knowledge and skills combine to prepare youth for the job market.

The students visited the laboratories of various faculties at the university, including Technology, Mechatronics, and Medical & Health Sciences, where they witnessed the training and modern techniques that students learn to acquire integrated knowledge and skills.

She encouraged students to take advantage of educational opportunities and vocational training, emphasizing that the combination of knowledge and skills is the key to personal and professional success.

The event clearly demonstrated the importance of integrating university education with hands-on training.
