President Hassan Sheikh Meets Security Officials and Traditional Elders in Jowhar

JOWHAR – The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud, held important meetings in the city of Jowhar, the capital of the Hirshabelle State, with security agency officials and local traditional leaders, focusing on strengthening security and enhancing community cooperation with security agencies.

President Hassan Sheikh listened to reports from the Security Forces stationed in the Hirshabelle State regarding the successes achieved in the fight against the Khawarij and maintaining security, praising their heavy responsibility in achieving visible results in the fight against terrorism, ensuring security, and supporting the communities in the areas they operate.

Additionally, President Hassan Sheikh discussed with the traditional elders of the Hirshabelle areas how they could play a significant role in the implementation of the upcoming inclusive elections in the region, strengthening the democratic process in the country, and reinforcing statehood, commending their effective role in the local traditional leadership in peace, development, unity, and state-building.

On the other hand, the President of the Republic, accompanied by the President of the Hirshabelle State, Mr. Ali Abdullah Hussein, inspected the Hirshabelle Regional Assembly building, which is nearing completion.
