A delegation led by the Deputy Minister of the Puntland Government's Ministry of Security, Abdirahman Yusuf Dujaana, visited areas in the Mudug region, where they held a meeting with the elders of the Daarusalaam community.

The meeting focused on strengthening the security of the area and addressing the developmental needs present there. The main topic discussed included the maintenance and improvement of the road connecting the Daarusalaam area and the Bursaalax district, which is crucial for community movement and service delivery.

The officials encouraged the local community to further strengthen cooperation in security matters and to participate in maintaining the stability of the area. They also welcomed the return of the nomadic people who have come back to the area.

Finally, the officials assured the community that the Puntland Government would work promptly to address the urgent needs of the Daarusalaam residents, noting that the improvement of services and economic infrastructure is part of the government's plan.
