Qoor Qoor clarifies his position following the election in Galmudug

Dhuusamareeb (Caasimada Online) – The former President of Galmudug, Axmed Cabdi Kaariye (Qoor Qoor) has stated his position regarding the election that took place today in the capital city of Dhuusamareeb, where the new President of Galmudug was elected, Mr. Liibaan Axmed Xasan, while Cabdiweli Ibraahim Garyare was elected as the Vice President of the administration.

Liibaan, who has been in a strong campaign for a long time, competed against candidate Cabdulqaadir Cabdullahi Diiriye, whom he ultimately defeated in the Galmudug election, coming out with a significant majority, having received 72 votes, while the new Vice President Cabdiweli Ibraahim Garyarye received 64 votes, and their victory has brought about an administrative change in Galmudug.

Qoor Qoor welcomed the success of the new President and his deputy, congratulating them on the heavy responsibility assigned to them.

“I congratulate Mr. Liban Axmed Xasan for winning the leadership of Galmudug for the next five years and Mr. Cabdiwali Ibraahim Aadan for also winning the position of Deputy Leader. I pray to Allah to make it easy for them the heavy responsibility they have taken on, and to assist them in fulfilling their duties towards the people and the regions of Galmudug,” said Axmed Cabdi Kaariye (Qoor Qoor).

He also sent a message to all the people of Galmudug, urging them to cooperate with the new leadership elected today in the city of Dhuusamareeb.

"I also call on all the people of Galmudug to stand by the new leadership, and to work together to strengthen unity, reconciliation, peace, and development in Galmudug," said the former President of Galmudug.

On the other hand, the President of South West State Mr. Sheikh Aadan Maxamed Nuur (Madoobe) congratulated the newly elected leader of Galmudug, Mr. Liibaan Axmed Xasan and his deputy Mr. Cabdiweli Ibraahim Aadan (Garyare).

Sheikh Aadan Maxamed Nuur (Madoobe) congratulated the new leadership of the Galmudug Government on the important positions they have been elected to, wishing them success and progress in fulfilling the heavy responsibilities assigned to them.
