Prime Minister Hamza Calls on Forces Not to Let the Enemy Gain Ground

Mogadishu, Somalia: The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, has concluded training for the 12th batch of the Danab Commando Forces at the Shahiid G/le Xasan Tuure Training School.

The soldiers of this batch have been taught the Penal Code, human rights, various skills including health and communication, weapon troubleshooting, and combat tactics during the training period.

The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Minister of Defense and the Commander of the Somali National Army, praised the efforts and resilience shown by the soldiers during their training.

He urged them to use the knowledge and skills they have learned to serve the Somali people and to benefit from fulfilling their duties related to the defense of the country and ensuring security.

Mr. Hamza pointed out that the DanQaran Government is giving special priority to the building and strengthening of the Armed Forces, in order to have a Somali army that is well-trained, capable, and fully able to carry out the constitutional duties assigned to them.

The Prime Minister also encouraged the new soldiers to uphold the law and to embody patriotism, loyalty, and commitment to the defense of the country, in order to counteract the Khawarij groups and anyone opposed to peace and progress in the country.

During the event, the soldiers of the 12th batch showcased the military skills and knowledge they acquired during the training, which prepared them for the national duties related to the defense of the country, ensuring security, and combating terrorist groups opposed to peace and governance in Somalia.
