Mogadishu (HOL) — Somali Future Council has strongly condemned the reported drone attack on the residence of former Somali Correctional Service commander Gen. Mahad Abdirahman Shub in Doolow district of Gedo region.
In a statement Friday, the opposition coalition said the incident raised serious concerns, particularly over allegations that foreign-backed drones were involved in the attack.
"Gen. Mahad had previously been removed from office and arrested for political reasons linked to his family ties with former South West State President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen," the statement reads.
