The Commander of CXD Inspects the DANAB Forces Camp in Galmudug

The Commander of the Somali National Army, Brigadier General Ibrahim Mohamed, has conducted a work inspection at the camp of the specially trained DANAB commandos in Dhuusamareeb, which is nearing completion.

The commander was welcomed at the camp by officials led by the commander of the 163rd Brigade of the 16th DANAB commando unit, Lt. Colonel Mohamed Bashir Sheikh Caligood Barqadle, who listened to a report from the officials about the current status of the camp's construction and ongoing activities.

On the other hand, Gen Ibrahim Mohamed Maxamuud spoke to units of the 163rd Brigade of the 16th DANAB commando unit, encouraging them to strengthen their national duties to the Somali people and the fight against the Khawarij, expressing gratitude for their sacrifices and bravery as they remain vigilant against enemy plots.

Finally, the commander noted that the construction of this new camp is crucial for enhancing the capabilities of the DANAB forces and improving the operational capacity of the armed forces, emphasizing that the Federal Government of Somalia is committed to supporting and strengthening the Somali National Army.

The officials overseeing the construction stated that the activities at the camp are at a final stage and will soon be officially completed.
