The Xawaadle Chief: The Hiiraan region is facing an attack from a self-proclaimed government clan

The leader of the Xawaadle clan, Ugaas Yuusuf Ugaas Xasan, who held a press conference in the city of Beledweyne, stated that a group carrying government uniforms is launching an attack on the people of the Hiiraan region.

Ugaas Yuusuf called on the people of Hiiraan to defend their honor and existence, and to urgently gather in the city of Beledweyne.

The Ugaas urged the soldiers from the Xawaadle clan who are in the national army to stand by their people, noting that the current government has reached the end of its time.

The Ugaas's remarks came at a time when the city of Beledweyne is experiencing a tense situation and conflict between the people of Hiiraan and the federal government.

In recent hours, Cabdullaahi Maxamed Cali Sanbaloolshe arrived in Beledweyne from Ethiopia, along with the deputy leader of Hirshabeelle, Cabdifataax Afrax, who also came from Mogadishu.

The elections held by the federal government in the South West and Hirshabeelle administrations have led to security chaos and division in those regions.
