A young boy kills his mother in the outskirts of Mogadishu

Mogadishu (Caasimada Online) – Further details are emerging about a shocking incident that occurred today in the Ceelasha Biyaha area on the outskirts of Mogadishu, where it has been reported that a young man brutally killed his mother.

One of the locals who spoke to Shabelle Tv stated that the young man used a machete, striking his mother several times, resulting in her death at the scene.

“The boy is a young man who has just come of age; he killed his mother, may Allah have mercy on her, using a machete,” said one of the locals.

He also indicated that the community members came out after the incident and removed the body of the mother, while the young man fled.

Additionally, he added that the suspect had been using drugs, and it was unexpected that he killed his mother, who was well-known in the community.

“We cannot say the reason; it is the will of Allah, but the people in the neighborhood said he had been using substances. This has affected us badly because we are in shock, and we did not expect it,” he continued.

Security forces also arrived at the scene, quickly beginning urgent investigations, and some reports indicate that they apprehended the young man who attempted to escape.
