The High Court of Kenya has awarded a Somali lawyer KSh 6.9 million in compensation

In a ruling issued on Thursday, Judge Patricia Mande stated that although the victim named Abdinuur Sheikh Ismail could not prove that the ODPP had maliciously prosecuted him, the agency had violated its constitutional obligations as outlined in Article 157(11) of the Constitution, as it had filed a case without supporting evidence.
