Baydhabo (Caasimada Online) – The Minister of Security of the South West State, Isaaq Maxamed Korsaar, has announced that a curfew has been imposed in the city of Baydhabo, which restricts the movement of people and vehicles after the Maghrib prayer.

The decision is part of measures to strengthen the security of the city, as Baydhabo still faces a security situation that requires additional vigilance and close monitoring of activities occurring within the city.

The Minister stated that residents of Baydhabo are required to comply with security-related directives, and that non-essential movements will not be allowed during the curfew hours.

On the other hand, he instructed security forces to increase operations aimed at ensuring security within Baydhabo, emphasizing the importance of working together to maintain the stability of the city.

“These directives, God willing, are all about security, and there must be cooperation and mutual support to ensure safety,” said the Minister of Security of South West State.

Minister Korsaar also urged the community to cooperate with security forces and to adhere to the issued directives, in order to prevent actions that could undermine the security of the city.

The curfew comes at a time when Baydhabo has recently experienced clashes and a tense security situation, which has affected the public and the activities of the city.
