Gen. Jimcaale has stationed the Danab forces

Gen. Jimcaale Jaamac Takar, who arrived in Garoowe the night before, went to the Ligle camp this morning, which is the headquarters of the forces he leads, the Danab.

Gen. Jimcaale has removed the Danab forces from areas they had been stationed in for the past weeks, including the mountains near the Ligle camp and other locations.

The Danab forces and their vehicles have finally been stationed at the Ligle camp today, after being in defensive positions outside for several weeks.

On the other hand, the government has withdrawn the additional troops it recently deployed at checkpoints and other entry points to the capital city of Garoowe.

Ongoing negotiations are taking place between Gen. Jimcaale and the Puntland government, which are being facilitated by some of the elders from the Nugaal region.

The elders of Nugaal, the government, and Gen. Jimcaale have agreed that no one should take any action that could undermine the security of Garoowe and Puntland, and anyone attempting to do so will be dealt with collectively.
