Chairman Muungaab appoints Maxamed Deeyow to a senior position

Mogadishu (Caasimada Online ) – The Governor of Banaadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Xasan Maxamed Xuseen (Muungaab), has today made a reshuffle and new appointments affecting one of the district administrations in Banaadir Region, following an official decree he issued.

The Mayor of Mogadishu has appointed Mr. Maxamed Cabdullaahi Cumar, known as (Deeyow), as the chairman of the Boondheere district, replacing the former chairman of that district, Mr. Cabdullaahi Xasan Sheikh Cabdi.

Muungaab urged the new chairman of Boondheere district to give special priority to the development of the district, its beautification, and the provision of essential services.

This is the second time Deeyow has been appointed to the position of chairman of Boondheere district in Banaadir Region. The first time he was removed from the position was in March 2024, when the chairman of Banaadir Region, Yuusuf Xuseen Jimcaale (Madaale), dismissed him following a dispute that arose.

At that time, Deeyow handed over the position to Cabdullaahi Xasan Sheekh Cabdi, who is now once again taking over the administration of the district, following his new appointment. This move signifies that Deeyow has returned to lead Boondheere district, after being away from that position for a while.

Maxamed Deeyow is a young and active man, who significantly supports President Xasan Sheekh on social media, and he particularly participated in his re-election campaign on May 15, 2022..
