Sheikh Aadan Madoobe chaired a meeting discussing the strengthening of security in South West

Baydhabo – The leader of the South West State Government, Sheikh Aadan Maxamed Nuur (Madoobe), chaired an extraordinary meeting focused on the overall security situation in the South West regions, which emphasized the assessment of the security situation, strengthening security measures, and accelerating efforts to achieve peace and stability in the administrative areas.

The meeting is part of the efforts by the South West Government to enhance the security and safety of the citizens, while promoting cooperation among security agencies and all relevant sectors working to protect the security and stability of the administrative areas.

During the meeting, particular attention was given to the importance of continuously monitoring the security situation and strengthening efforts to ensure overall security, so that the citizens living in the South West regions can attain safety and stability.

Sheikh Aadan Maxamed Nuur (Madoobe) emphasized the importance of further strengthening efforts to ensure security and accelerating the activities that security agencies have for the community. He also stressed that the protection of the citizens' safety and their property is a responsibility that holds special priority for the South West Government.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Livestock and Animal Husbandry of the Federal Government of Somalia, Xasan Xuseen Maxamed Eleey, the Minister of Security of the South West Government, Isaaq Maxamed Korsaar, and the State Minister of the Presidency, Cabdiraxiin Maxamed Xasan Laamey.

On the other hand, the movements of the forces loyal to Cabdicasiis Laftagareen in the districts of the Bay Region are increasing. These forces are reported to still be organizing against the South West administration, a situation that comes at a time when the leadership of the administration has held a special meeting regarding the security situation in its areas.
