Leader Aadan Madoobe holds an urgent meeting on the security of South West

Sunday 1 Nov 2026 {HMC} The Leader of the South West State Government Mr. Sheikh Aadan Maxamed Nuur (Madoobe) chaired an extraordinary meeting focused on the overall security situation in the regions of the South West State, which emphasized the assessment of the security situation, strengthening security measures, and accelerating efforts to achieve peace and stability in the South West regions.

The meeting is part of the ongoing efforts of the South West State Government to enhance security and ensure the safety of the public, while promoting cooperation among security agencies and all relevant sectors working to maintain security and stability in the South West regions.

During the meeting, particular attention was given to the importance of continuously monitoring the security situation and strengthening efforts to ensure overall security, so that the citizens living in the South West regions can enjoy safety and stability.

The Leader of the South West State Government Mr. Sheikh Aadan Maxamed Nuur (Madoobe) emphasized the importance of further strengthening efforts to ensure security and accelerating the activities that security agencies have for the community. He also stressed that the protection of the public's safety and their property is a responsibility that holds special priority for the South West State Government.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Livestock of the Federal Government of Somalia Mr. Xasan Xuseen Maxamed Eleey, the Minister of Security of the South West State Mr. Isaaq Maxame Korsaar, and the State House Deputy Minister Mr. Cabdiraxiin Maxamed Xasan Laamey.
