Leader Adan Madoobe visits hospitals of some soldiers injured in the battle that took place in Baydhabo.

Thursday 20 Aug 2026 {HMC} The leader of the South West State Government, Mr. Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe) visited the hospitals where some of the heroic soldiers injured in the attack by the Al-Shabaab terrorists on the city of Baydhabo are being treated.

Leader Sheikh Aadan Madoobe received a report from the hospital administration on the medical condition of the soldiers, as he inquired about their situation and the medical care they are receiving for their injuries while defending the country and the Somali people.

Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), the leader of the South West State Government praised the soldiers for their bravery, selflessness, and efforts in defending the people and ensuring the security of the city of Baydhabo.

The leader also prayed to God for the injured soldiers for a speedy recovery and for ease in their rehabilitation, emphasizing that the South West Government stands with the soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the security and peace of the country. The leader was accompanied by the Minister of Finance and the Director General of the Presidency of the South West State of Somalia.
