The President of HirShabelle and the Commander of the 5th Sector of AUSSOM Discuss Strengthening Regional Security

HIIRAAN – The President of the HirShabelle Regional Government, Mr. Ali Abdullahi Hussein Guudlaawe, held a meeting with the Commander of the 5th Sector of the African Union Mission in Support of and Stabilization of Somalia (AUSSOM), Brigadier General Michel Ndenzako, where they discussed the security situation and strengthening the cooperation between AUSSOM and the Somali Security Forces.

The meeting focused on accelerating joint operations aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the HirShabelle regions, and how to further strengthen cooperation in security matters.

President Ali Guudlaawe praised the AUSSOM forces for their important role in supporting peace and security in Somalia, highlighting the efforts and dedication they have shown while working to secure the country.

For his part, Brigadier General Michel Ndenzako thanked the HirShabelle administration for the close cooperation with AUSSOM, noting that this partnership is crucial for the success of joint operations aimed at stabilizing the regions and combating security threats.

The Commander of the 5th Sector of AUSSOM also emphasized AUSSOM's commitment to continue supporting the peace and security efforts led by Somali institutions, in order to enhance stability and security in the region.

This meeting is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the cooperation between AUSSOM, the HirShabelle administration, and the Somali Security Forces, to ensure lasting security and development in the region.
