President Hassan concludes training for thousands of soldiers in Xananbuure

The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, has concluded training for thousands of soldiers from the Somali National Army, who have completed basic military training after nearly one year of training in the Xananbuure area of Galguduud region. These soldiers, recruited from all regions of the country, will be the largest group to receive such training in the country since the collapse.

This training is significant as it represents a major step against terrorism, with expectations that these soldiers will participate in operations to ensure the country's security. The President urged the soldiers to uphold the unity and sovereignty of the country and to carry out their duties with patriotism and responsibility. The President also encouraged the soldiers to continue their training to prepare for operations against terrorism, stating that these soldiers symbolize the recovery of governance and the rebuilding of the Somali National Army.

On the other hand, these soldiers, being the largest group to receive training in the country, have undergone comprehensive military lessons and training related to military discipline, rules of engagement, combat tactics, and essential knowledge for fulfilling national duties. The event was attended by officials at various levels, including the President of the Galmudug State, the Minister of Defense, the Commander of the National Army, and members of the Federal Parliament of Somalia.
