President Hassan Sheikh Congratulates the New Leadership of the Galmudug Parliament

MUQDISHO (Goobjoog News) — The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud, has congratulated the new leadership of the House of Representatives of the Galmudug State, which was elected today in the city of Dhuusamareeb.

The President extended his congratulations to the new Chairman of the House, Xuseen Maxamed Nuur, the First Deputy Chairman, Cabdulqaadir Axmed Cali Quuri, and the Second Deputy Chairman, Mursal Cabdi Aadan.

Xasan Sheekh wished the new leadership success and urged them to carry out their responsibilities with transparency and professionalism, encouraging them to prioritize the common good, unity, and development of Galmudug.

Additionally, the President emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between state institutions and enhancing the activities of the House of Representatives, to ensure the fulfillment of their responsibilities in leadership and representation of the people.

The President of Somalia also praised the elections that took place in the regions of Galmudug, which he described as an important step towards advancing the democratic process in the country and ensuring the rights of citizens in electing their leaders.

The election of the new leadership of the House of Representatives of Galmudug comes as the state continues its efforts related to the establishment and strengthening of its governmental institutions.
