The Deputy Commander of the Puntland Police Force, Brigadier General Caydiid Axmed Nuur, has opened a boxing training for the Police Reserve Forces and the SPU who previously operated in the Puntland regions.

This training aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and preparedness of the forces, with the objective of increasing the efficiency and quality of security services they provide to the public and the Puntland government.

The opening ceremony of the training was attended by officials and senior officers including the Training Leadership, the Forces Leadership, the Commander of the Carmo College, and other officials from the Puntland Police Force, all of whom emphasized the importance of continuous training for the forces to meet the changing security needs.

Brigadier General Caydiid Axmed Nuur urged the forces to fully utilize the training period and to strengthen the discipline, capability, and skills required of security forces. He pointed out that the quality of the forces plays a significant role in ensuring peace, protecting the public, and combating security threats in the Puntland regions.

The Puntland Police Command has also stated that such training programs are fundamental to enhancing the capacity of the forces, improving job skills, and strengthening overall security. Additionally, it noted that the continuation of training programs will contribute to reinforcing stability and security in Puntland.
