Prime Minister Hamza Lays Foundation for the Reconstruction of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Somalia

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, has laid the foundation for the central headquarters of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, which is undergoing reconstruction, as part of the efforts of the DanQaran Government to enhance the institutions vital for public service and economic growth in the country.

The Prime Minister stated that the Ministry of Commerce and Industry is a backbone for the development of the country's economy, as it plays an important role in boosting trade, enhancing production, encouraging investment, and creating a transparent business environment.

“The Ministry's headquarters, which has been standing for 50 years and shows signs of aging, its reconstruction is an important step. This ministry is among the key ministries of the Nation, and it is the gateway to trade and the development of our country's production.

Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre emphasized that the government is committed to improving the infrastructure of national institutions, to accelerate the services they provide to the public, and to strengthen business and investment opportunities in the country.

“Our country is heading towards progress and enhancing production, and it is expected that soon many factories owned by Somali and foreign investors will be established in the country.” said Prime Minister Hamza.

Finally, the Prime Minister praised the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Jamaal Mohamed Hassan, for implementing this reconstruction project, describing it as an important step to strengthen the capacity of the institution and the services it provides to the Somali people.
