Prime Minister Hamza Criticizes Political Letter Sent to the United Nations

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, today inaugurated the Somalia Tourism Exhibition on the outskirts of Mogadishu, organized by the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism, which was attended by hundreds of members of the capital's community, showcasing the tourism potential of our country.

Prime Minister Hamza stated that the tourism opportunities in the country are very abundant, and can contribute to the national income if the required conditions are met, along with suitable human resources and modern technology and skills.

Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre praised private businesses and anyone who has invested in tourism, particularly in the coastal areas, where he acknowledged that the greatest opportunities lie.

The Prime Minister, continuing his speech, also touched on the issue of national sovereignty and independence, stating that a letter sent by a politician to the United Nations was unfortunate and a significant blow to the country's sovereignty and unity.

“Unity is the strong pillar without which a nation cannot stand, which transcends political disputes and differing opinions that may arise at certain times; if unity is lost, it becomes a target for enemies. Our unity is a legacy passed down from generation to generation, and it has been sacrificed with life and wealth,” said Prime Minister Hamza.
