BREAKING: Cali Guudlaawe re-elected as President of HirShabelle

Jowhar (Caasimada Online) – President Cali Cabdullahi Xuseen (Guudlaawe) has been re-elected as the new leader of the HirShabelle regional administration, following an election that took place today in the city of Jowhar, the capital of the Middle Shabelle region.

Cali Guudlaawe competed against candidate Nuur Cilmi Xalane, who is a member of the Ramaas party, ultimately winning the HirShabelle election.

Additionally, Cali Guudlaawe emerged with a significant majority, receiving 81 votes, while the other candidate received 13 votes, thus becoming the new President of HirShabelle.

The results of this election were anticipated, as Cali Guudlaawe had strong support from Villa Somalia, which has significant influence over the affairs of HirShabelle.

The re-elected President is also part of the senior leadership of the JSP party, which once again enabled him to secure the presidency of the HirShabelle administration.

On the other hand, the election for the Vice President of HirShabelle has now commenced, with Cabdifitaax Xasan Afrax and Cabdifitaax Baashi Maxamed competing, representing JSP and the Iftiin Qaran party, respectively. However, success is predicted for Afrax, who is affiliated with the party of President Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud, which has previously granted him the candidacy card of the party.

The election process for the Somali regional administration of HirShabelle comes after last week's election in Galmudug, where President Liibaan Axmed Xasan, also a member of the Justice and Reconciliation party, emerged victorious.

} Regardless, Somalia is currently in a difficult phase resulting from a serious crisis regarding how Villa Somalia is approaching the federal and state-level elections opposed by the opposition.
