South West State Issues New Decisions to Strengthen Security in Baydhabo

Baydhabo – The leader of the South West State Government, Mr. Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), chaired the Security Meeting of the South West State Government, which focused on strengthening the overall security of the South West regions and accelerating efforts to ensure the safety of the public.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Security and various military officials who provided reports to the leader on the security situation in the South West State regions and plans to enhance security measures.

The meeting resulted in decisions related to security, including that a soldier not wearing a military uniform cannot carry a weapon within the city, that military vehicles cannot operate within the city unless they are part of an operation, and that planned operations will commence to open roads in the districts of South West State.

The leader of the South West State Government, Mr. Sheikh Aadan Mohamed Nur (Madoobe), emphasized the importance of cooperation between security agencies and the community to ensure sustainable security, urging security agencies to double their efforts in maintaining safety and stability in the South West regions.

The meeting decided to strengthen security operations and enhance cooperation between the military and the public to prevent actions that threaten security and to ensure a secure environment conducive to development and community services.
