Muungaab discusses the election of the speaker of the HirShabelle parliament

Mogadishu (Caasimada Online) – The Chairman of the Banaadir Regional Administration and Mayor of Mogadishu, Dr. Xasan Maxamed Xuseen (Muungaab) has spoken about the election of the new leadership of the parliament of the HirShabelle regional government, which was held last night in the city of Jowhar.

Muungaab congratulated the new Chairman of the Hirshabelle Parliament, Cabdixakiin Luqmaan Xaaji Maxamuud, and the two deputies, Cabdiraxmaan Cabdi Iidow and Jaamac Cali Maxamuud.

The Mayor of Mogadishu wished the new parliamentary leadership success and urged them to effectively fulfill their assigned responsibilities, prioritizing the service to the people of HirShabelle.

Additionally, Muungaab prayed to Allah to guide the new leadership in bearing the heavy responsibilities assigned to them and to succeed in fulfilling their duties.

On the other hand, the Mayor of Mogadishu thanked the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, praising the efficient manner in which they managed the election process for the new parliamentary leadership.

Muungaab also reminded the elected members of the importance of cooperation and consultation among government institutions to strengthen collaboration and fulfill constitutional responsibilities.

The Chairman emphasized that the unity of government institutions is the foundation for political stability and sustainable development, wishing the new leadership to work for the interests of the people of HirShabelle.
