The First Degree Court of the Puntland Security Forces and Serious Crimes has sentenced Cabdullaahi Maxamuud Shire to death by shooting after he was found guilty of intentionally killing his brother Cabdirashiid Maxamuud Shire.

The chair and judges of the court stated that the crime charged against the defendant was proven through investigations and witnesses presented to the court, and he was found to have killed the deceased with his own hands.

On the other hand, the Prosecutor of the First Degree Court of the Puntland Security Forces and Serious Crimes requested that a case be brought against an officer accused of taking a bribe of 566 Dollars, while the soldier who used to give the orders was brought to the scene and refused to take the money, in order to uphold the law and the oath he took.

Reports from the court indicate that the soldier who refused the bribe reported the matter to the relevant authorities, which led to an investigation into anyone involved in the corrupt act, and the prosecution requested that he be promoted.
