Cabdicasiis Lafta-gareen forms new government

Nairobi (Caasimada Online) – Former President of South West Somalia, Cabdicasiis Xasan Maxamed Lafta-gareen has issued a letter announcing an appointment decree, through which he has formed a new government.

This appointment, which came from Lafta-gareen's office, has assigned the appointed members to various ministries including security, education, public health, agriculture and irrigation, and transportation.

The new members that Lafta-gareen stated he has appointed as ministers include Xasan Cabdi Maxamed who has been appointed as the Minister of Information and Public Awareness of South West.

Additionally, Ilyaas Cali Nuur has been appointed as the Minister of Youth and Sports, while Cabdi Axmed Qaasim has been appointed as the Minister of Public Works and Reconstruction of the administration.

Macallin Aadan Cali Arbow has been appointed as the Minister of Education, Culture and Higher Education of the South West administration.

Furthermore, Ibraahim Aadan Cali Naja has been appointed as the Minister of Internal Affairs and Local Governments of South West, while Maxamed Yuusuf Cali has been appointed as the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation.

Maxamed Ibraahim Cali has also been appointed as the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, while Xasan Cabdulaqaadir Maxamed has been appointed as the Minister of Internal Security.

Lafta-gareen has also stated that he has appointed Xasan Cabdinuur Albaro and Mustaf Axmed Idow to ministerial positions.

Lafta-gareen's appointment of these members comes at a time when the South West administration has an operational government, and is facing a significant political struggle between the new administration and the previous one led by Cabdicasiis Lafta-gareen.
