Puntland Opens Training for Forces Named RRU

The Commander of the Puntland Presidency, Major General Siciid Nuur Shire, the Commander of the Karkaar Regional Police, Major General Bashiir Maxamed Maxamuud, and the Deputy Governor of Karkaar, Cabdicasiis Yuusuf Caamir, today in the city of Qardho launched a boxing training for forces named RRU, which are part of the Puntland Presidential Guard.

The officials urged the forces to enhance their knowledge, skills, and job responsibilities required for ensuring security and protecting important facilities.

They also emphasized the importance of providing the forces with continuous training to improve their quality, efficiency, and readiness for their duties.

This boxing training is said to be part of efforts to strengthen the capacity and quality of Puntland's security forces, aiming to have a force with skills, capability, and full readiness to respond to existing security needs, while also playing a visible role in maintaining the safety and stability of the community.
