Somalia rights commission chief meets auditor general to strengthen oversight

MOGADISHU, Somalia — The chairwoman of Somalia’s National Independent Human Rights Commission, Maryan Qasim, has met the country’s Auditor General, Ahmed Isse Guutaale, to discuss strengthening cooperation between the two institutions, the commission said.
